Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable characters. Linney grew up in an actor's family, as her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. She graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. Later she completed a M.F.A. at Juilliard School.
